10:10 a.m. – The Responsibility of a Seedstock Breeder – Brandon Cutrer
In this talk, Brandon Cutrer will discuss the Brahman breeders responsibility for accuracy in performance, customer service, marketing, guarantees, breeding programs, and other pertinent information that is needed for success in the purebred Brahman business.

11:00 a.m. – The Role of Brahman in Crossbreeding and the Beef Industry – Dr. Matt Spangler
Dr. Spangler a professor of animal science at the University of Nebraska – Lincoln and is one of the leading animal scientists in the nation. Here in Texas, we know Brahman is king but in other parts of the nation, we still need to share the story of the Brahman benefits and traits. Dr. Spangler will discuss the role of Brahman in crossbreeding on a national level and the importance of birth weights, performance data, hybrid vigor, and more.

12:30 p.m. Understanding EPDs with national geneticists, to be announced

1:15 p.m. – Producer Panel: “What I WISH I Knew When I Started In The Brahman Business”

We will be offering over 100 head of elite Brahman females from our spring born calf crop. Heifers will be offered in price groups, first come first served, at the price point of $20,000; $15,000; $12,500; $10,000; $7500 and $5000.
