Bluebonnet Kickoff Classic

The second largest Brahman show in the United States, the Bluebonnet Kick-Off Classic, will be held August 2-4, 2018 at the Brazos County Expo Complex in Bryan, Texas.
Entry deadline EXTENDED and Judge Change!!!
Due to a large amount of junior exhibitors and breeders supporting the All American this week in Perry, Georgia, the Bluebonnet Brahman Association has decided to extend the entry deadline for the Kickoff Classic to July 13, 2018. This deadline also includes when money orders must be postmarked.
Bulls Eye Ranch will once again host a hands-on showmanship clinic on the Thursday before the Bull show. The clinic will follow the noon hamburger lunch sponsored by the Bluebonnet Brahman Association with a prompt start time of 2:00 p.m.; participants are asked to be in the arena a few minutes before the start time.
The clinic is designed with the novice exhibitor in mind and is geared to give exhibitors tips and suggestions to best present their cattle in front of judges. After the clinic there will be an informal showmanship class where clinic participants will be judged on how they present their cattle.
Attendees are invited to just watch or bring cattle for a hands-on experience.
Cattle will be provided to international guests wanting to take part in the clinic. This is a great opportunity for breeders to learn showmanship skills from some of the best American Brahman showmen.

1:30 PM – Check in starts for all Open Show Cattle and Junior Bulls
Friday, August 3rd
8:00 AM – Group Classes Followed by Open Bull Show
1:00 PM – Junior Bull Show (Junior Exhibitors 18 years and younger)
2:30 PM – All Junior Females must be checked in
3:00 PM – Junior Showmanship (Junior Exhibitors 18 years and younger)
Showmanship Classes: Pee Wee (8 years old and under), Junior, Intermediate and Senior
Saturday, August 4th
8:00 AM – Open Female Show Followed by Junior Female Show (Junior Exhibitors 18 years and younger)
Sunday, august 5th
12:00 PM – ALL cattle must be out of barn
